Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Outside Sales Representative Account Executive will be responsible for growing and developing an assigned sales territory in a business to business (b2b) sales environment with a main focus on manufactures.
Key focus of this Account Executive will be to identify, qualify and close new opportunities in both new and established accounts. Manage account activity from prospecting, qualifying, through negotiations and post-sales support. 90% focus will be on generating net-new business with 10% of your time maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts.

Compensation: Base + Commission/Bonus, including eligibility of benefits (Health Insurance, Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick Leave and 401K matching)

Key Attributes:
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through new customer acquisition
  • Strong understanding of how to grow an under developed or under penetrated territory
  • Successful track and record selling consultatively
  • Proven ability to sell to corporations at the C-level or key management within the plants/distribution centers.
  • Successfully sell the business value vs. Product is KEY
  • Actively listen and determine the customers needs
  • Ability to clearly articulate your point of view in professional manner
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory account plans to achieve and exceed individual quota responsibility
  • Consistently build and deliver an accurate pipeline via CRM system
  • Ability to lead multiple customer sales cycles and close effectively (i.E., candidate is a hunter not a sales order taker)
  • Capable of quickly learning product(s) and clearly communicating its value proposition
  • Manage effective working relationships with Plustar s Technical Applications Specialist, Customer Service and Purchasing departments
  • Able to develop strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners within identified territory
  • A proven closer, able to garner commitment every step of sales process
  • Effectively respond to customer requests and RFPs
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor' s Degree
- Minimum 3 years experience in a sales and/or customer facing role is required
- Travel within your territory (Local Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex)
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
- Experience leveraging social sales tools / processes (Linked In, Webinars, etc )
- Ability to work in a high volume, rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work in a team environment and willing to collaborate and compromise, including team leadership
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and CRM system
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Industrial or Distribution sales a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
