Service Administrative Assistant

Job Duties Include Assisting with the Following:
Handling inbound parts and service calls.
Utilizing EXCELLENT Customer Service Skills to engage callers and maintain a positive experience during times of delays due to researching parts or holding for other reasons.
Overcoming technical and business objections of prospective customers.
Emphasizing salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
Tracking stock levels.
Estimating date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm' s production and delivery schedules.
Building and maintaining customer relationships.
Entering new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Working with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
Investigating and resolves customer problems with services provided.
Skills Needed to Perform the Job Successfully:
Technical Skills Must have strong computer skills, including MS Excel and Outlook.
Customer Service Must be able to engage customers and remain engaged for the duration of the call - in a positive manner; manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service.
Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings.
Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; must have professional email etiquette to create correspondence via email regarding quotes, updates or anything else required; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
