Serves as a Representative dealing with internal and external customers including factories and vendors on day-to-day business matters. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing requests for quotations, diagnosing customer s needs, selecting products including product conversions, interpreting engineering specifications, sizing valves and instruments, troubleshooting, determining materials needed on projects, obtaining bids from vendors and/or contractors, writing and submitting final quotations in accordance with established guidelines, processing purchase orders, stocking for orders, coordinating assembly and/or repair of products with production, ensuring timely execution of order, and ensuring payment is collected for products and services rendered.
Experience & Qualifications
High School or Equivalent
2+ years of experience in a Relief Valve customer service
Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Able to work with all levels of staff
Prevention and Safety Awareness - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety

Typical Duties & Responsibilities
. Communicates with internal and external customers through verbal and written methods to address product selection including representation of our product lines, request for quotes, engineering specifications, status of orders, technical questions, scheduling, invoicing, and collections.
Analyzes the engineering specifications through the process of sizing and selection of valves and instruments to meet the customer s needs.
Quotes projects including all legal/formal documentation to maintain compliance with Codes, Standards, and customer requirements.
Researches problems and solutions including but not limited to customer s needs, factory issues, production and scheduling needs, and Terms and Conditions issues.
Provides pricing based on pricing schedules, contract pricing, scope of work, discount factors, and outsourcing needs.
Manages the customer pool programs including the selection, scheduling, tracking and reporting of customer on-site inventory.
Environment and Hazards
Work performed within a non-climate controlled shop/warehouse environment. Many hazards exist including but not limited to humid/wet conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; moderate to high noise levels; and vibrations.
