Technical Sales / Business Development Manager - New Orleans, LA
The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to promote company branding and industry expertise while generating new business. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers to meet or exceed territorial targets. This role is crucial to the overall success of the company.

Key responsibilities:
- Market analysis, strategic planning/execution and direct key customer relationships.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed territorial targets.
- Prospect, identify, and qualify potential sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain business relationships with all Partners, distributors, vendors, internal and external client base; enabling them in the promotion and support of the company s services as well as develop and maintain business relationships with key end-user accounts.
- Will work collaboratively with all company staff, to ensure everyone is working toward the same end goal.
- Will continuously work on pricing strategies based on market conditions and changing dynamics in the territory area.
- Utilize technical expertise to provide practical and consultative solutions/services for clients specific automation needs.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability/access, responsiveness; ensuring to follow processes for tracking and expediting orders, and consistent follow-up and follow through accounts as necessary for customer expectations to be met and exceeded.
- Maintain post-sale relationship/follow up in the effort to cultivate, develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.

- Self-driven accountability, motivation and a desire to succeed
- Proven selling, presenting and negotiation skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong background in electrical, controls and/or automation
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player with excellent organizational skills, results oriented
- Valid Drivers License
- Active automobile insurance coverage
